SONOS HANDBELL ENSEMBLE
HOLIDAY CONCERT

Thursday, December 7, 2017
7:30 p.m. at Jones Theatre, Daggy Hall

For more than 25 years, Sonos Handbell Ensemble has wowed audiences with their breathtaking musical performances using 68 chromatically tuned bells. Each bell plays a single note, allowing the ensemble to cover more than five octaves by ringing, slamming, plucking, malleting, shaking, damping, and bouncing bells individually.

In this special holiday concert, Sonos will perform beloved seasonal favorites like Tchaikovsky's Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy and the classic Sleigh Ride.

"Their music stunned us all. The 4,000 audience members went wild, just as we knew they would."
—Garrison Keillor, A Prairie Home Companion

Based in Berkeley, California, Sonos has established itself as America's premier handbell choir, collaborating with Grammy-winning artists and composers and performing sold-out concerts in the US, Europe, and Asia.
